If your bank is outside of the United States and uses a different currency, payments will be converted to your local currency at market conversion rates. For bank transfers, you will provide your banking details (ie: Account number, Routing number, etc.) and your bank will determine the specific method by which money is sent to your account. Catapult has no control over the type of Bank transfer your bank or country support. Bank transfers are available only for checking accounts. Savings accounts cannot receive bank transfers.
Tax Withholding
Based on your country of residency and the tax form that you provide Catapult, if you are subject to withholding (rare for US citizens), then a certain portion of your payment will be deducted from your payment and remitted to the IRS. This deduction could cause your payment amount to be lowered below the minimums listed below which will prevent your payment from being sent. Learn more about Tax Withholding here.
Catapult Minimum Payment Threshold
The minimum payment threshold that must be met before Catapult sends any payment is $10. Payments less than $10 will not be paid out and will accrue until your balance meets the minimum amount. Further, due to bank processing fees related to each payment method, in order to receive a payment, your payment must exceed the minimum of $10, plus any tax withholding and related bank processing fees.
Return Fees
If your banking information is incorrect or has not been updated, your bank may return the payment to Catapult which will result in a return fee.
