*IMPORTANT: Dolby Atmos file sizes are HUGE. For example, an average stereo file would be around 50 Megabytes in size whereas that same track in Dolby Atmos would be around 2 Gigabytes in size! For that reason, please expect your uploads to take much longer than usual depending on your internet connection. Also, you won't be able to preview the Atmos files from your browser since they can have up to 128 channels of audio and require Dolby Atmos software/hardware to listen to them.
In order to upload Dolby Atmos audio files for a new album submission, you will also need to provide the standard stereo audio files since not all music stores support Dolby Atmos currently and the music stores that do require that there be Stereo Audio files alongside the Dolby Atmos files in their platforms (ie: So that consumers can still listen to the Stereo audio if they do not have a compatible Dolby Atmos device).
You cannot submit an album with only Dolby Atmos audio files. Further, to submit Dolby Atmos files for an album, all tracks on that album must have a corresponding Dolby Atmos file.
Instructions on submitting Dolby Atmos for new album submissions:
When submitting a new album for distribution, simply check the "Dolby Atmos" option on the first page of the album submission process...
...and when you are at the Upload section of the submission form you will be presented with 2 upload buttons for each track, one for the stereo audio files and one for the Dolby Atmos audio files...
Once you complete the submission process and your album has been processed for delivery, we will deliver your album to all of the music stores you authorize and for those that support Dolby Atmos, we will deliver the Dolby Atmos files as well.
Instructions on submitting Dolby Atmos for previous album submissions:
You can upload Atmos files for your already distributed album by visiting your album's page in your dashboard at Catapult and clicking on "Optional Services" and then on "Purchase" for the Dolby Atmos service:
You will then be guided to upload your Atmos files and optionally provide your Atmos file's ISRCs (These are different than your stereo file ISRCs) if they exist:
