Every song you release through Catapult needs at least one Songwriter or Composer, listed by a real person's full legal name per industry guidelines. You cannot submit a track without either one Songwriter or one Composer. That rule doesn't change when you use AI. However, since AI-generated songs can be confusing, use the table below for general guidance depending on your track's situation:

Important: An AI tool or model name (Such as "Suno" or "Udio") is never to be submitted as a songwriter, composer, or any other artist role including primary artists and performers. Further, if industry guidance changes in the future, Catapult may alter or remove entirely any songwriter/composers you submit for AI tracks at our sole discretion.
